About ET&T Department:-
ET&T is the utilization of science & maths applied to practical problems in the field of communication. The Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering at GEC Jagdalpur was established in during 2000-01.The Department offers Bachelor of Engineering degree. The department has annual intake of 30 students in 2000-01 and intake was increased to 60 during 2010-11. The department has experienced and dedicated faculty members who are experts in their own disciplines, aims to educate students and aware in the latest trends in electronics and telecommunication.

To become center of excellence in the field of electronics & telecommunication engineering and provide value-based professional for industries and society.
Mission of the Department
M1: Impart knowledge required for recent and advanced electronics & telecommunication technology.
M2: Facilitate students towards a successful career in industry, research and entrepreneurship through various skill development courses.
M3: Provide the ethical and value based education by promoting activities addressing the societal needs.
Programme Educational Objectives (PEOs)
Under the Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering undergraduate program, department has a goal to produce Electronics & Telecommunication Engineers who will:
PEO1: Acquire educational foundation that prepares them for advance technologies in professional careers/higher education in the field of electronics & telecommunication engineering.
PEO2: Develop various skills and attitude in lifelong learning by applying and adapting new ideas and technologies.
PEO3: Have moral values/Ethics to build an efficient team with appropriate soft and managerial skill capabilities.

- An ability to apply fundamental concepts of electronics & telecommunication engineering to design and implement variety of components and systems in areas related to analog & digital electronics, communication, signal processing, VLSI and embedded system.
- An ability to use latest hardware & software tools to achieve appropriate solution for electronics & telecommunication problems either independently or as a team.
- The ability to make use of acquired technical knowledge for qualifying in competitive examinations for a successful career upholding high moral and ethical values or to pursue higher studies.

MR. R.K. Shukla LAB TECHNICIAN Lab Facilities:- The department has 5 well-equipped and 1 computer laboratories and facilities to supplement theory with practical knowledge. The ET&T Department is equipped with Analog Electronics, Digital Electronics, Signals and Systems, LICA, OC, Electronic Workshop, ECD, EDC, Power Electronics, VLSI, DCS etc. Laboratories, one digital laboratory, one microprocessor laboratory, a Server Room. This lab has digital podium, projectors, interactive board and facilities for scanning and printing. The computer laboratories house 30 computer systems all having wi-fi connectivity.
